Vans is excited to host a number of skate activations this year’s in conjunction of the opening of the newly built Plaza at Ampang Park.
Contending skateboarders can expect stiff competition as some of the best regional riders will be in town. Round 1 of Vans Showdown by Pa’din Musa consists of Best Trick Jam Sessions to warm things up, where a Vans athlete will be hosting a 30 minute jam session on a curated obstacle, looking for the best trick executed in exchange for some cold hard cash. It’s open to all 40 athletes so expect a wild one for Round 1.
As for Round 2, dubbed ‘The Final Showdown’, the top 5 men and 5 women/Non-binary that have advanced from Round 1 will compete in intense jam sessions for the main prize.
Through jam formats, riders will be awarded for style and unique approach as opposed to routine contest runs and traditional approach to competition.
